About diem ceramics

our first experience with clay was in winter of 2019. emily was in the middle of law school and was looking for a creative outlet, and diane, a born artist, was interested to try a new medium.

After our first course, we were hooked. what started out as a once-a-week hobby turned into a full-blown operational ceramics studio in our garage during the covid-19 pandemic.

since 2019, we have continued to grow. we now have a sunny studio close to home in san clemente, ca. as a mother-daughter team, we love creating together and making functional pots that add joy and warmth to daily rituals at home.
